The Parent/Teacher Organization from Senator Gibson Public School and the Beamsville Strawberry Festival have come together again this year to provide a fun filled "Kidz Zone" for all tots to teens from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 19th at the Beamsville Fairgrounds.
Some of the features include: Niagara Inflatables Disney's Cars 22' Dual Lane Slide, Turbo Rush Obstacle Course & Rock Climb Slide (a 90' attraction) and Atlantis Giant Bounce & Slide; an out door rink with goalie game from Ball Hockey International; Mad Science show; a craft area to construct tool boxes provided by Home Depot and their volunteers; interactive story telling presented by Lincoln Ontario Early Years; tennis tips and information provided by Academy of Tennis; Atkins Pony Rides and Halaloo the Clown busily making balloon creations.
As well, Beamsville Co-Operative Nursery School will be hosting The Teddy Bear Picnic, set up by the Family Stage, and will feature water table fun, fence mural painting, face painting and button crafting.
You can purchase your "Play-all-Day" wristbands from the Customer Service Desk at Sobeys Beamsville from June 4th to the 18th. Wristbands are $10 each when purchased from Sobeys Beamsville. Wristbands purchased the day of the Festival at the ticket booth will be $15 each, or you may purchase single play tickets for $1 each. A wristband gives unlimited access to the inflatables and ball hockey rink from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be a huge Penny Sale featuring thousands of dollars worth of prizes including a PSP and games, huge gift baskets and numerous gift certificates to area attractions including Canada's Wonderland, the Ontario Science Centre, Marineland, the Bowmanville Zoo, Westfield Heritage Village, Niagara Falls attractions (from almost every attraction in Niagara Falls courtesy of the Niagara Parks Commission and the Niagara Clifton Group), Casa Loma, Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Shaw Festival Theatre, CNE, Toronto and Hamilton Harbour cruises and so many more prizes.
100% of the proceeds collected from the sale of the wristbands and the Penny Sale will be donated to Senator Gibson Public School to help with the ongoing playground rehabilitation project.
The "Kidz Zone" area will span from behind the Grandstand all the way to the Livestock Barn. In the event of rain, "Kidz Zone" will be relocated into the Livestock Barn. "Kidz Zone" will operate from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plan to spend a fun filled day at "Kidz Zone".
